Edwin Beeston died from unspecified causes on 9th March, 1915, while in England. The 13th London (The Kensingtons) battalion had arrived in France in November 1914 and been attached to 25 Brigade, 8th Division. During the winter of 1914-1915 they were in and out of the front line around Laventie and Fauquissart, to the south of Armentieres and were finally relieved on 1st March but it is not known if he served in France |
